John Maeda

John Maeda joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in 2013 as Design Partner, where he works within KPCB’s ProductWorks program helping entrepreneurs and portfolio companies to build design into their company cultures. He served as the 16th president of Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) from 2008 through 2013. During his tenure, RISD saw increased applications, fundraising, and career placements. Prior to RISD, John spent 13 years at the MIT Media Lab as a professor and head of research.

 

Luke Wroblewski

 

Luke is currently a Product Director at Google. Earlier he was the CEO and Co-founder of Polar (acquired by Google in 2014) and the Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Bagcheck (acquired by Twitter in 2011).

 

Julie Zhuo

Jakob Nielsen

Dr. Nielsen established the “discount usability engineering” movement for fast and cheap improvements of user interfaces and has invented several usability methods, including heuristic evaluation.
